Winner: Refugee Teaching Programme - University of Essex Students' Union

A student led volunteering programme where student volunteers deliver lessons in the English language to local refugees. Rather than being stopped by the Pandemic, doing digital sessions has grown the programme. Their main collaboration is with Essex Integration, a local organisation supporting refugees.

WhatNext? Coventry University Students’ Union - Coventry University Students’ Union

WhatNext? Coventry is the Coventry University Students Union society dedicated to the empowerment, enlightenment and inspiration of Black and South Asian young people in Y9-Y13 throughout the West Midlands. WhatNext? Coventry has collaborated with 10+ incredible student-led organisations and 5+ community partners throughout the 2020/21 academic year.

Feminist Society - Newcastle University Students' Union

An intersectional, trans-inclusive, anti-racist, body-positive society, they created ‘Barriers to Entry’ project - a guide for societies on how to be inclusive and accessible. They also worked with over 20 other societies in their SU this year.
